Well, after two weeks of miserableness, I'm finally feeling somewhat better. I'd say totally better, but my stomach is unhappy with me for some reason. But let's focus on the good things!
Keith and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this past weekend with a trip to Tennessee. It was a much-needed break for both of us, and it was wonderful to visit such a beautiful area again. Sigh. I love it there.
Unbelievably, Keith is starting his fourth year of medical school next week. It's hard to believe how fast the past year went, but I would be lying if I didn't hope that this next year goes just as quickly.
Other than that, there's not much new. I haven't worked out in two weeks due to the sickness, so I'm feeling extremely weak and a bit grouchy. But, on the bright side, I'm back into a running mood, so that's always a good thing. I wish my little area of town had more sidewalks, though. Not that I'd mind if I had this. I had found a complete gift set/kit that included the iPod and a few gift cards, but Apple makes it about impossible to find on their website so screw it. Anyone know of anything very similar to this idea but not Apple related?

Coughy Cough Cough
Do you ever have those moments when you think of the best blog post, and you can map out exactly what you're going to say, but you're nowhere near a computer? Maybe you're one of those lucky people that will later remember what you had planned to say, but sadly, I'm not like you. So when I had my brilliant idea on my way home today, it did not stick around until three hours later for me to finally get to a computer and start typing. Sigh.
The only thing I can really think of now, is that I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I caught a virus from a girl at work (who was sick for two weeks, mind you, and still isn't 100%), so I have a sore throat, cough, and fatigue without being able to sleep for the next week. One week down, one to go, so I guess I can be grateful that it's half over. But I'd really like to be feeling a whole lot better by Friday, when Keith and I leave for our anniversary trip (yay!) to Tennessee. At least I have my voice back.
Oo, I did just think of something wonderful, that made the last two days of my sickness much more tolerable (at least I laughed almost as much as I coughed). I read A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages by Kristin Chenoweth. I read this book in two sittings. I only put it down to sleep, and even then it kept me up longer than I should have let it. I don't know if you remember, but I have a bit of a girl crush on Ms. Chenoweth, and this book did nothing but solidify it. If you like laughing, you'll love her. She's adorable.
Alright, it's time for me to take my contacts out and get nice and comfy for the rest of the night. I thought about going for a walk, but the fatigue has set in, and it's going to be nice to lay down and veg for the rest of the night. Next time, I'll text myself my blog post ideas. :-)

Nothin' Much
Well, I meant to post again awhile ago but that just didn't happen. I try not to post when I'm in a negative mood, so that would explain it. Aside from work, everything's actually going really well. I have two brand new nieces who are absolutely adorable (pictures soon to come!). I look forward to spoiling them, and I'm sorry that I don't live closer to watch them while they grow an enormous amount in the next few months.
Life is going to start getting stressful again in a few months, which is really nothing new for us, but it's also not something I look forward to. I can't believe Keith and I have been married for just under a year already, and I really can't believe that we've lived in Indy for almost as long. This leg of our journey is already halfway over, and the next half is going to fly by.
That's about all I have for now, which really isn't a whole lot of information. But I'll be uploading pictures soon, so you have that to look forward to.
